This is it! The last "a month in photos" -post. This year and forever. I have no words to describe how happy and thankful I am to have had you here each month sharing your beautiful photos and making this a great linky party. A month in photos {September 2016}

Time to say goodbye to September! Despite we were sick most of the month, it was still beautiful. Falling leafs everywhere, cooler days, loads of tea, no more sandals. Dusk crawling in earlier and earlier... unforgettable moments together casually in front of TV. Puzzles and books. Simple everyday loaded with little things.

A month in photos {August 2016}

August has always been a bit confusing for me... no more quite Summer not yet quite Autumn.
This year was no exception. I was already back at work, schools started in the middle and the weather's been on and off beautiful and dreadful. I've never liked things halfway and that what makes August so hard for me! I had this feeling that I haven't been doing much this month but once again looking back with my pictures made me see how special this month was. And it feels good to get to share it with you :) So I wish you all a very happy final fling with Summer and hope you're all ready to share your August with me!

A month in photos {July 2016}

Holiday month almost gone! Three more days left. May it be a beautiful farewell.
July was perfect: travelling, sunshine, mostly glorious weather. Memorable moments together: loads of swimming, just hanging out, eating berries, making good food. And it all culminates Minea turning nine years today. Happy birthday dear!

A month in photos {February 2016}

In February days started to get noticeable longer! And as wonderful as it is, it makes us desperately long for spring. Also we are getting somewhat tired of winter physically and in the end of the month we have caught a flue or two... Despite of that we have enjoyed pink tulips, hopes and dreams as well as progress in personal projects. I feel I became alive after a long time and I've shot much more than in the past few months. We warmly welcome March!

A month in photos {January 2016}

The end of January. Everyone is quite tired. Life has been a fast paced sprint for the past three weeks after slow Christmas and we could all do with a moment or two to catch up with ourselves. I’m planning a slow February; simpler, light, controlled... Looking forward to days getting longer, Valentines and perhaps a few days off from work. And tulips... must get tulips!

Happy New Year & 2015 in review

End of the year always evokes bittersweet feelings. I’m swinging between happy and sad. It feels good to wrap a year that was as good as this one but a part of me doesn't want to let it go.... I worry. Time. It is passing much too swiftly. I realize my little ones, my muses, my children, are not so little anymore. But here we are again rewinding the year and I'm so happy to have captured it. To have pressed the shutter and saved these memories.

As every year I used Photobox (UK) to print my calendar. Last year was an exception but the quality wasn't so good and returned to Photobox and A3 Simple (which is their best seller). Delivery was late, but it finally arrived - just before new year.

A month in photos {December 2015}

As the year draws to a close, it's time to take a look back in December. As you know, we waited for the snow impatiently and did not receive any. We might be getting some for New Year but that remains to be seen. December was good - a festive wait of Christmas. I can't quite remember what it feels like to be a child on Christmas but I think it must be almost as exiting being a mother, making memories for my own children.

Time really flies and suddenly Christmas is just around the corner. December has it very own spark which has just grown while having two little ones in my life. Unfortunately we are still missing snow.... The darkness is becoming almost unbearable. Every candle and light is appreciated now as we wait the snow to enlighten our days and continue to dream of white Christmas.

It's been a super busy past few weeks at work but today after getting home I took the time to put up the design I had in my mind for 2016 Photo Calendar Template. I hope you like it!

A month in photos {November 2015}

I took all my November pictures in the very beginning of it. After that the darkness took over and I haven't even thought of my camera... It was a good month however. Time to slow down (which didn't quite succeed...), take out candles and lights, read and bake the first Christmas pastries. But I must say I'm not sad to move on to December. We are officially waiting for Christmas and even more for the first snow to arrive. I'm predicting it's not far away...

Light is easy to love.

And just like that. Summer fell into fall. September was everything it was supposed to be: half summer half autumn. Sunshine and rain. Rainbows and dreams. New beginnings and full of joy in our everyday life. I'm thankful for every moment.

So, it's September! That seems a surprise. May and June were a blur of new job, school ending and million things to do. Then July and August was gone in a blink. Now we are settled back in school, business, and schedules. Feels good. Like always I’m already waiting for the crisp autumn days, colors of the trees and comforting rain.

A month in photos {July 2015}

Whoops! It's been a month... but I never miss my month in photos post ;)

We've been on holiday and I been doing... pretty much nothing. Except reading, dreaming, travelling, walking, running, swimming... enjoying my July. This summer has been the coldest ever in Finland. Luckily we spent ten days in Poland seashore and got to enjoy some warmer weather. Two days ago my oldest daughter turned eight (!), suddenly jasmines are bloomed away and it's time to dive into August.

A month in photos {May 2015}

Welcome to share your month in photos!

May was the beginning of Spring and so many other things. We've been running around enjoying every moment and I can't help feeling a little sad now when it's all coming to an end. The little one is going to be a preschooler and Minea finished her first class... I'm proud of her since her first year in school wasn't easy. Being a quiet, sensitive, slow learner she has been working at least twice as hard as the other children. All the children are happy to start their holidays but Minea is mainly relieved: allowed to spend time alone and enjoy silence. And I'm gonna let her do that.

A month in photos {April 2015}

Welcome to share your month in photos!

April came and so did the spring. Unfortunately we spent most of this beautiful month being sick. Nevertheless we are fine now and this beautiful Thursday on the last day of April is going to be our little spring celebration. And with celebration I mean a little run, sauna with kids, ice cream, TV and and a good night sleep. And a glass of wine ;)
