Quiet living and pink hydrangea

In early September I made the decision to simplify my life as much as I can. I think I wouldn't have succeed without the horrific flu that actually forced me. It's never fun being sick but this time it thought me quite a lot. I've said no to everything, I've left most of the social stuff and stopped doing a crazy amount of things. I'm choosing carefully where to place my energy. Instead of rushing, I take a breath and slow down. Still not living the actual slow life nor meditate... but at least I had the time to shoot my pink hydrangea.

  1. What a stunning hydrangea bush! Your photos are amazing. My retirement has taught me to the joy of not being too busy. I try to only have one big thing to do each day. It's nice to have time to do only the things I love.

  2. Ihana!

  5. Oi, näistä sun kuvista on NIIN vaikea valita vain yhtä! Enpä usko, että voisin kyllästyä näihin sun hortensiakuviin ihan äkkiä.:)
Joskus on tosiaan syytä laittaa asiat tärkeysjärjestykseen ja miettiä omaa hyvinvointia...Nimimerkki flunssaa pukkaa.;)) Leppoisaa sunnuntaita!<3

  6. Love your dreamy images of the hydrangea, Mona!
And I also am hibernating after work ... tea and just being ... making soups for dinner and wondering how the time goes by.
It is lovely to enjoy the light and fresh air in the weekends (besides biking to work and home during the week) - I should pick up the habit of a daily evening work, but the couch and tea are calling upon my name after dinner ...
Enjoy the weekend, and the bright colors around you!

Tuota olen opetellut itsekin tämän vuoden aikana. Huikean kaunis tuo hortensiasi - aivan upea!
