Time really flies and suddenly Christmas is just around the corner. December has it very own spark which has just grown while having two little ones in my life. Unfortunately we are still missing snow.... The darkness is becoming almost unbearable. Every candle and light is appreciated now as we wait the snow to enlighten our days and continue to dream of white Christmas.
It's been a super busy past few weeks at work but today after getting home I took the time to put up the design I had in my mind for 2016 Photo Calendar Template. I hope you like it!

I will continue my month in photos project next year as usual and I invite you to join me to share your monthly collages on my blog in the very end of every month. A month in photos {November 2015}
I took all my November pictures in the very beginning of it. After that the darkness took over and I haven't even thought of my camera... It was a good month however. Time to slow down (which didn't quite succeed...), take out candles and lights, read and bake the first Christmas pastries. But I must say I'm not sad to move on to December. We are officially waiting for Christmas and even more for the first snow to arrive. I'm predicting it's not far away...
Light is easy to love.
Show me your darkness.

Shorter days
It's here! Dear November! With its drizzly rain, cold weather, and short, dark days, sometimes it seems like November is the cruelest month, or at least the most hated. I happen to love it however. The shorter days and darkness feels cozy and nothing can beat the comfort of warm sweaters, fuzzy socks and candles (yes, we will be fed up with them in six months...). This is the season of novels, baking, lanterns and the wait of Christmas! It's time to enjoy peppermint, gingerbread and cinnamon flavored everything. And on the top of it nature tones have turned from multicolored explosion to beautiful soft gray and brown. Just take a look...

A month in photos {October 2015}
The days aren't discarded or collected, they are bees | that burned with sweetness or maddened | the sting: the struggle continues, | the journeys go and come between honey and pain. -Pablo Neruda

Around the block {Liiketie Tapanila}
I had small trip (to Rome!) and after that I got a flu and since then I've just been super busy and I when I finally got out for a walk I could barely believe how much the scenery had changed. And also how cold it was and how the dusk crawled in so early. Just a little walk around the block. Perfect.

A month in photos {September 2015}
And just like that. Summer fell into fall. September was everything it was supposed to be: half summer half autumn. Sunshine and rain. Rainbows and dreams. New beginnings and full of joy in our everyday life. I'm thankful for every moment.
This month favorite. Friday evening on the couch.

Look at the bright side
Don't you just love the way Sunflowers turn all day long to follow the sun. Looking at the bright side. They face east in the morning and west in the afternoon. It is awesome to watch a field of Sunflowers different times throughout the day.
This year they are blooming very late. My last year sunflower session was in middle August but this year we hit the field last weekend. Last years pics were light and bright and summery as this year they are brownish and a little bit moody. I love both and once again I'm thankful of the amazing four seasons we have. I love summer but I love Autumn equally as much.

A month in photos {August 2015}
So, it's
September! That seems a surprise. May and June were a blur of new job, school
ending and million things to do. Then July and August was gone in a blink. Now
we are settled back in school, business, and schedules. Feels good. Like always
I’m already waiting for the crisp autumn days, colors of the trees and
comforting rain.
