A month in photos {October 2016}

October gone with a blink of an eye! Seriously. This month we got to see the transformation of nature from reds and yellows to total gray. I'm surprised to realize it happened so fast - yet right in front of our eyes. The season seemed so short and I'm sad to let it go. But there are already frosty mornings and I'm sure our first snow is not far away. So welcome winter and welcome November. We'll make it one to remember.

Halloween

Halloween wasn't celebrated in Finland until just recently when we found a good foreign excuse for a new celebration. At first I was all against it. It just didn't seem right to adapt another commercial happening to our culture. But seeing kids enjoy it so much, I've learned to accept. It's so much fun after all and when darkness crawling in earlier and earlier every day, we do need fun things around us. So lets just give it a go and enjoy!

Brown all around

I've been shooting and posting a lot hydrangeas over the last few months. White, green, pink and now brown. One of those flowers that just gets more and more beautiful as time goes by... may favorites of all the flowers. The colors are slowly disappearing everywhere in the nature... soon it's brown all around. I wonder if we get snow soon?

Monday again

And suddenly it's Monday again? Time flies. Really.
I don't hate Mondays but I won't lie... Waiting the weekend already.

October favorites

Those muted tones... the beauty of brown! October foliage has it's special kind of beauty that makes Autumn my favorite season. Colder weather provides the perfect atmosphere for certain kind of coziness. I happen to love big sweaters, grey wooden socks, hot tea and books. Combining this with a cat and covers makes this all oh so sweet. In case you didn't get it - I love Autumn!
